In 1942 Mary Matsuda
and her family walked from Pier 52 in Seattle to a nearby train. They were
among hundreds of Japanese-Americans silently walking past curious onlookers
toward an uncertain future in internment camps. Mary will offer her story of
imprisonment in her own country because she looked like the enemy. She
will share what she learned from that experience.
