Imagination and Human Possibility: The Theology of John O'Donohue

Rev. Peg Morgan

August 10, 2008

Today we will go deep into our lives through the life and poems of John O'Donohue. John died this past January, unexpectedly. But he remains through his volumes of poetry and the results of his activism. As David Whyte, our own northwest poet, said of him: "He was a rare form of human possibility, a razor sharp intellect married to a far-traveling, Irish articulation and a bird-of-paradise vocabulary that made the listener realize that until then they had never listened at all." Come acquaint yourself with him, even if for the first time, and in the process discover yourself.
